The Arizona Capitol Times has named HBS Arizona Managing Principal Liz Goodman to its 2024 Women Achievers of Arizona list. The annual list by the state’s policy and politics media outlet recognizes leaders that have “excelled in their fields, showcasing an unwavering commitment to excellence.” The Capitol Times has also recognized Liz in its annual Best of the Capitol list for Arizona’s Best Lobbyist and Rising Star in 2022.
Liz has nearly 20 years of experience in law and government relations in the state. She earned her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she developed her interest in public health and policy through her work serving clients living with terminal illnesses and representing inmates in civil suits, often related to healthcare access. Liz has helped to secure a statewide college tuition waiver for children in foster care and legislation to reduce surprise out-of-network billing practices. She serves on the Board of Directors for Touchstone Behavioral Health and Feeding Matters, and volunteers her legal expertise to children and families with Community Legal Services, while also providing legislative representation to child welfare organizations.
