Jasmine is an accomplished lobbyist that brings a winning track record to her work for clients as Principal with HB Strategies 50 State. She has helped support clients from diverse industries to advance key legislative goals, secure crucial funding, and build powerful coalitions.
With a decade of government affairs experience, Jasmine excels at navigating complex regulatory landscapes and designing effective, targeted lobbying campaigns to elevate client priorities at both the state and local levels. Her ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with elected officials, staff, and stakeholders—paired with in-depth knowledge of legislative processes—has established her as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and political organizations.
Most recently, Jasmine was State Government Affairs Manager at ITG Brands, the nation’s third-largest tobacco manufacturer and a subsidiary of British Imperial Brands. In this role, she championed company policy objectives nationwide, tracked legislation, and orchestrated high-level meetings between decision-makers and clients. Previously, Jasmine served as the Government Affairs Manager at Hyllion in Austin, Texas, where she advanced electrified commercial trucking and power generation policy priorities.
Earlier in her career, Jasmine served as a lobbyist with a multi-state government affairs firm where she advanced the priorities of clients in the technology, gaming, and nonprofit sectors. She has led grassroots campaign efforts in Missouri and beyond, successfully organizing stakeholders and mobilizing community action to secure program funding and prevent harmful legislation from impacting client interests.
A Missouri native, Jasmine earned dual degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Missouri. She is an active member of the National Black Professional Lobbyist Association and serves on both the Mizzou Alumni Association Kansas City Chapter Board of Directors and the Missouri CASA Board of Directors. She also volunteers as a head coach for Girls on the Run Greater Kansas City Chapter.
