HBS Kansas Managing Principal Matt Hickam was on the ground in Kansas City, Kansas this week for the ribbon cutting of QKS1, Amazon’s first Prime Air drone delivery center in the state.

The new facility is a real milestone for Wyandotte County, bringing high-quality jobs, meaningful investment, and a look at what the future of delivery looks like at the local level. Matt has been proud to advocate for Amazon in the Kansas Legislature as part of the HBS Kansas team.

Matt was also joined by his Leadership Kansas classmate, Mayor Christal E. Watson, a fitting reminder that the relationships built in those settings carry forward into moments like this one.
