Mike has spent 20 years working in Missouri government and public policy, helping clients advance their priorities on education, telecommunications, infrastructure, economic development, public safety, insurance, and tax policy.

Mike brings a unique perspective from both sides of the legislative process. He spent eight years as a staff member in the Missouri Senate, rising to Chief of Staff for the Senate Majority Floor Leader, and served in the State Auditor’s Office. This Capitol experience taught him how policy decisions are made and how to build the relationships that matter when advancing client priorities.

For the past 15 years, Mike has represented clients ranging from small trade associations to Fortune 500 companies. He spent nearly four years as Director of Government Affairs in Missouri for Charter Communications and currently serves as Director of Government Affairs for the Missouri Council of School Administrators where he leads the organization’s state lobbying efforts and coordinates the Missouri School Administrator’s Coalition – a group of more than a dozen organizations working together during legislative sessions.

Mike’s strength is building coalitions and bringing different stakeholders together around common goals. His background working inside the Legislature gives him insight into what it takes to get things done at the Capitol.
