Courtney Ellis is the Executive Assistant to both the COO and CEO of Husch Blackwell Strategies in the Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining HBS, Courtney was Executive Assistant to former SEC Commissioners Paul Atkins and Dan Gallagher at Patomak Global Partners, a financial services consultancy.

Before joining Patomak, Courtney served as Executive Assistant to Congresswoman Ann Wagner (MO-2) and spent nearly eight years as Executive Assistant and Scheduler to Senator Christopher S. “Kit” Bond (MO) in the U.S. Senate and at Kit Bond Strategies, LLP, as well as Thompson Coburn LLP.

Courtney is originally from Windsor, Missouri, and attended the University of Central Missouri.
