HBS Colorado Principal Lisa LaBriola Writes Keeping It Civil Leading Up to Election Day Should be Focus

HBS Colorado Principal Lisa LaBriola, a regular contributor to the Denver Gazette, writes recently that political differences should not lead to knock-down fights, “The exchange of ideas, no matter how different they might be, is the cornerstone of a healthy political system.”

Lisa, a former Democratic staffer in the Colorado General Assembly, shares her insights with a Republican colleague on various issues in a monthly op-ed series Point/Counterpoint and this month’s column asks, “How can we civilly engage in political discourse?”

Lisa brings over a decade of experience in Colorado politics, actively shaping policy and strategy as a Principal in the HBS Colorado office in Denver. She has held key roles including Policy Director, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Chief of Staff for Colorado State Senate leaders, including President Leroy Garcia and Senate Minority Leader Lucia Guzman.
