Maddie previously served in key roles in the state including Missouri Deputy Attorney General for Policy and Chief of Staff to the First Lady in the Governor’s Office. Her work in state government paid particular attention to issues such as combatting human trafficking and improving child welfare.
Maddie earned a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. She was twice published in the Missouri Law Review and worked in the Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic. She also earned her bachelor’s in economics and political science from the University of Missouri. Continuing her commitment to her alma mater, Maddie serves on the University of Missouri Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy Alumni Council and the University of Missouri Kappa Alpha Theta Advisory Board.
