Javon is a Policy Associate in the HBS office in Washington DC where he assists teams of the federal practice group with research and readiness for client projects.

Javon joined HBS from U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver’s (DMO) office where he was a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow and served as a Legislative Assistant. He was responsible for a policy portfolio that included transportation, economic development, education and judiciary. Prior to that, Javon worked in the district office of U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (D-FL) as well as in a government relations role with Jacksonville Transportation Authority. He earned a master’s in public policy from Jacksonville University and bachelor’s in economics from the University of North Florida.
