Kyle’s experience in government at the state and national levels helps shape his work for clients at Husch Blackwell Strategies. He has worked extensively with legislation related to banks, insurance, brokerage companies and trade finance. Notably, Kyle was counsel on the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee for Chair Mike Oxley of Ohio and Subcommittee Chair Doug Bereuter of Nebraska.
Kyle is experienced in matters concerning governmental affairs, ethics, campaign finance, government contracts and election law. He assists industry representatives from groups, companies and associations with legal services across the public policy spectrum. His experience includes issues related to financial services, agriculture, energy, natural resources and healthcare. Additionally, Kyle has broad experience helping clients navigate the complexities of regulation and compliance at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Kyle currently also serves as Managing Partner of Husch Blackwell’s Washington, D.C. office. His accomplishments include representing First National of Nebraska on capital, credit card and municipal advisor matters; securing a provision in the Dodd-Frank law regarding consumer protections while representing Nationwide Exchange Services; and providing representation before Congress on tax credit programs for the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA), including the low-income housing tax credit.
Kyle earned his J.D. from University of Nebraska College of Law and bachelor’s with distinction from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
