Tonya is a highly experienced human resources professional who leverages her strong business acumen to drive successful outcomes for initiatives across all ten HBS offices. She plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization while also supporting and strengthening the company culture through best practices.

Tonya’s responsibilities encompass all administrative aspects of new employee on boarding, including, working with new hires to administer and file employment paperwork necessary for employment, initial new hire enrollment into programs that are used daily at HBS, consulting with and advising employees on costs and eligibility of all offered benefits and counseling employees as situations arise on benefits. Tonya also manages employee verifications and legal compliance by ensuring issues are resolved and policies are administered fairly and consistently.

Prior to joining HBS, Tonya served as the office manager for Axiom Politics until the company merged with HBS in January 2022 to become HBS Colorado. During her tenure at Axiom, she oversaw daily operations, including financial responsibilities such as accounts payable and receivables. She also managed contracts from start to finish and collaborated with the secretary of state on lobbying and PAC disclosures, lobbying registrations, and fulfilled various human resources duties.

Tonya and her husband Leonard are proud natives of Colorado, and they cherish any opportunity to spend quality time with their children and grandchildren.
