Leadership Kansas, an affiliate of the Kansas Chamber, has selected the 2023 members of its prestigious statewide program and HBS Kansas Managing Principal Matt Hickam was invited to join its 2023 Leadership Kansas class. Matt was chosen by the Leadership Kansas Board of Advisors from 600 applicants to join this year’s class of 40.  

“I am honored to have been selected and look forward to the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other leaders in the state to make a positive impact on our communities and the future of Kansas,” said Matt. 

In the seven-month program the class will engage with experts and leaders in the community through educational training sessions in a wide range of topics including business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health, economic development, and government. 

Matt’s nearly twenty-year tenure in Midwest politics and policy has included work on client issues ranging from national household brand names to nonprofit causes at the state and local level. Campaigns and Elections Magazine recognized his work by naming him a Top 500 Influencer in the nation and one of the top 10 influencers in Kansas.
