Andy Blunt, Gregg Hartley, and Christian Morgan Recognized as Top Lobbyists in Washington

The Husch Blackwell Strategies leadership team of Andy Blunt and Gregg Hartley, as well as HBS Principal Christian Morgan, have been selected for The Hill newspaper’s exclusive list of top lobbyists in Washington. Gregg and Andy have received the honor each year since launching the firm in 2018 while Gregg has separately been recognized nearly every year since 2004.

The Hill notes, “These impactful advocates stand out for the results they’ve delivered for their clients.”

HBS continues its growth trajectory under the leadership of Andy and Gregg who in five years have built a trusted bipartisan national brand for federal and state lobbying.

Gregg manages the firm’s federal practice in Washington and built HBS Federal from the ground up. By assembling advocate workhorses to deliver real results for clients he successfully catapulted the firm into the top quarter of firms that reported $1 million or more in lobbying revenue. Clients benefit from his more than forty years of insider experience at all levels of government and politics.

Andy has built one of the largest networks of state lobbyists in the country from the ground up – effectively opening new policy fronts and opportunities for clients. HBS opened its ninth state capital office in Oklahoma City this year, joining other state offices in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, and Wisconsin. Clients turn to Andy for help managing a crisis, polishing a brand, and understanding how government works and how to make it work for them.

With over 23 years of politics and public policy experience, Christian is recognized on Capitol Hill and throughout the federal government as a fierce advocate for his clients. He successfully represents a broad range of HBS Federal clients in broadband, higher education, energy, crime victims and child services, appropriations, water infrastructure and transportation.
