Husch Blackwell Strategies Managing Principal Matt Hickam was named a 2024 Chamber Champion by the Kansas Chamber at the organization’s annual awards dinner as it celebrates its centennial anniversary.
The Chamber Champions are chosen for their extraordinary support and engagement as a member of the Kansas Chamber and their work to enhance the organization’s position as the state’s leading voice of the Kansas business community. The annual dinner is the largest gathering of leaders in the Kansas business community with nearly one thousand people attending this year’s event.
Matt leads the Husch Blackwell Strategies Kansas office in Topeka. His nearly twenty-year tenure in Midwest politics and policy has included work on issues ranging from national household brand names to nonprofit causes at the state and local level. That work has also earned him national recognition as a Top 500 Influencer in the U.S. and one of the top 10 influencers in Kansas.
